Beside the train service ICT also provides long haul by road package services to and from ICT to Port Klang. The service is to complement the rail service and to cater for the 'Just In Time' (JIT) customers requiring such services. The local haulage to and from CT to the various industrial zones within the Kinta Valley are being provided by about 7 container haulage operators based at Ipoh.
